Janie Sue Simonds

Janie Sue Simonds, 64, born in Belpre, Ohio on October 24, 1946. Passed in Wimauma, FL on October 3, 2011. She is survived by her 7 daughters, 1 step daughter, 23 grand children, 9 great grand children, 1 sister, and many more. She was the keystone of our family. She was a one of a kind mother, grandmother, sister, friend, and angel. She will always remain in our hearts and our thoughts, and she will always be a part of our souls. She will always be missed. She will never be forgotten. We are a part of her; she makes us who we are. Strong, loving, she gave everything she had to those who needed it and never expected anything in return. Would welcome anybody to her home if they needed a roof over their head. She had a hard life, but she taught the ones around her to love and be there for each other no matter the situation. Here is what a couple of her grand children felt about her and who she was: "She's saved me from the worst of times and been there with me to celebrate the best. I don't want her to be gone but I know she's in a much better place. God has finally allowed her to rest from the hardships of her life. I love you so much Granny and I miss you. I know your standing up there with Jesus right now holding hands with the rest of our family that has moved on. ~Tiffany Bokesch " I love and miss her so much, but tears won't bring her back. She was there for me in my hardest times. When I got locked up, she bailed me out. She always told me to do good in school and do the rest later. She was so sweet. She made brownies for me and my friends, wanted to meet my girlfriend to make sure she was cute enough for me and had a positive influence on me. She just cared so much about me. She was like my best friend, the closest person to me and she is gone. She is in a better place now. I love you so much." ~Joey Simonds "An absolutely amazing women has passed away. But just remember even though we didn't want her to go, she's now in a much better place. She gets to be reunited with her loved ones that was lost in the past. I love you granny." ~Monique Bridges Her interests were being with her family, yard sales, bingo, poker, nascar, football, cooking, rollercosters, collecting antiques and gold, and she loved holidays. And let's not forget ELVIS!!
