Clifford P. Drymon Sr.
April 18, 1937 - February 17, 2020
Clifford P. Drymon ( Mr. D.), 82 of Sundance in Wimauma, Florida went to be with our Lord on February 17, 2020. Clifford was a lifelong area resident and attended Wimauma High School where he excelled in the sports of football and baseball, receiving many awards for his excellent athletic ability. He also met his loving wife, Lynette a cheer leader at school and they became high school sweethearts. They were married on September 22, 1957, and celebrated 63 years of marriage on September 22, 2019. They were blessed with three wonderful children; Cyndi, Amy and Cliff Jr. who gave their life even more meaning. He was a wonderful husband and father, always putting his family first. Clifford and his brother Danny owned Drymon’s Paint and Body for several years until he bought Danny out. He continued to own and operate Drymon’s with the help of his son, Cliff Jr., Body Tech and Estimator; daughter Amy as office manager, and daughter Cyndi acted as a consultant. He was greatly respected by all he came in contact with, and provided jobs for a great many employees through the years. He was a avid hunter, fisherman, loved watching football, baseball and listening to country music. He is survived by his wife, Lynette; son, Cliff Jr.; granddaughters, Whitney, Deidre and Courtney; grandsons, Matthew and Luke; great-grandsons, Atorion and Christian. He was preceded in death by his father, Harry; brother, Harry; mother, Artie; his sister, Sylvia; brother Danny; daughters, Amy and Cyndi. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 12 pm, February 22, 2020 with funeral service following at the Sun City Christian Center, where Cliff attended at Highway 301 and James Road. Interment will follow the service at Fellowship Cemetery in Lithia, Florida. . . . . .
