Mitch Wayne Gritzinger
March 27, 1987 - June 8, 2018
To really know Mitch you had to look past the outside. Mitch was raw and outspoken. He was unafraid of others disliking him or their judgements. Hidden underneath this shell of a warrior was a man that could show love that was unmeasurable. When he was around there was a lightness in the air. Nothing was off limits. He embodied every aspect of a true warrior. He was brave and humble in his power. He never had to prove anything. He exhumed it. He also owned being a gentleman. He was gentle and giving. He never expected anything in return for a deed done. He was a true kind spirit and there are so few in this world that wore it as easy as he did. He made selfless sacrifices for the comfort of others he cared for. When Mitch loved you, you were favored and you could feel it. His love was consistent and unwavering through any storm. It was not something that needed to be said. Mitch had a way with kids and they all wanted to be with him. Every kid in his life was schooled in life lessons by him whether it be in fighting techniques, coping skills, or real love. He leaves behind family and friends in sorrow but also with the strength of his love and memories to carry on. Those strong bonds are forever embedded in our hearts. His fierce resilience and devotion to all he loved will outlive his short time spent on this Earth.
