Albert Kirk McGowan, 63, of Brandon, Florida, passed away Sunday, May 26,2024. He was
born February 15,1961.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Gertrude McGowan, and his sister, Kim McGowan. He is survived by his wife, Frances McGowan; daughters, Desiree (Jay) McGowan and Sonya McGowan; father, Albert McGowan; sister, Victoria Hall (Richard); brothers-in-law, Charlie (Karen) Walsh and Justin Walsh; sister-in-law Rachael (Mike); nieces, Danielle (Jeff) Webb, Sarahnae, and Emily; nephews, Ryan Hall (Jaylynn), Alan (Toni), Berry (Denise) and Daniel; great nephews, Jordan, Dominic, Jackson, Edwin, Michael, and Christian; great nieces, Alana, Kayleigh, Annabelle, Mariah, Audrey, and Natalia; granddaughters, Siera, Ariana, Shaylen; and great-granddaughter, Sirena.
He was a truck driver with Averitt Express. He loved having family around and cooking for them and he was an excellent cook. He raced at Eastbay racetrack for a bit and loved his racing with it being at the tracks or on tv. He enjoyed fishing and four wheeling. Most of all he loved his exotic American bully dog Rambo.
There will be a Celebration of Life for Kirk on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Springhead Pentecostal Church of God, 3301 Clemons Road, Plant City, FL 33566, from 11am-1:30pm.
