Amelia Herman Bishop, 93, of Dover, Florida went home to be with the Lord, January 14, 2011. She was born July 20, 1917, in Decatur, Illinois, and grew up in the allast Point / Interbay area of Tampa. She was a loving mother and a devoted Navy wife, who loved God with all her heart.She was preceded in death by her husband Herschel Mark Bishop, her parents George and Susie Herman, four brothers, Carl, Frank, George and Paul Herman, three sisters, Ruby McCatty, Ruth Wheeler and Elizabeth Herman. She is survived by one sister, Evelyn Bolin of Kissimmee, Florida,four children, Susie B. (William) Morrison of Indianapolis, IN, Herschel Mark (Terry) Bishop of Jacksonville, FL, Margaret B. (Anthony) Pino of Dover, FL and Linda (Barry) Oberschlake of Aberdeen, OH, seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at Ruskin Memorial Park, Ruskin, Florida on Monday, January 17,2011 at 11:00 a.m.
