Arnold Kiefert, age 79, of Warrensburg, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2011, at Western Missouri Medical Center.He was born June 5, 1931, in Lisbon, North Dakota, the son of Leo and Pearl (Liebing) Kiefert.Mr. Kiefert was a high school graduate.  He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.  He later worked as a mechanic for an excavation company until his retirement.Arnold Kiefert is survived by four daughters:  Katheryn Baker of Warrensburg, MO; Kaylene Kiefert of Warrensburg, MO; Karen Kiefert of Twin Valley, MN; and Karla Hargett of Salem, OR; three sisters; four brothers; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, one brother, and one sister.
