Bobbi Jean Erickson, born May, 19, 1949, Minneapolis, Minnesota, entered in to rest January 7, 2017 Sun City Center, Florida.
One of the greatest gifts I have every gotten in my life was the love that Bobbi bestowed upon me at our first meeting, it was magical, it was as if the hand of God had placed her in my presence so that I would be able to find my own worth and with that the worth of all other creatures that exist with us here on earth.
Bobbi was the greatest of all love, the kind that ask nothing in return but gives freely to all who are in need of it. Let it be said that everyone of us is in need of that kind of love, the kind that feels so good that you never want it to leave and want it to always stay so that you can feel it over and over again. That is what I felt.
Her love was and still is the driving force behind all the goodness that I see all around me at this moment and although she is not with me or you in body I am positive that she exists on a plane that we will all be able to reach some day if we can only persevere long enough to find our way out of the morass of human frailties that seems to exist today in either shear numbers or the social media propagating that kind of insanity. Let me say again that anyone who had the good fortune to be a friend of this dear departed soul was and is and will be forever reminded of her whenever they see that kind of love in action. Then they will remember the love that they were fortunate enough to receive from this beautiful person.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations to Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation or The Sun City Center Hospice House.
