Brian P. Gerry, of Sun City Center, Florida, Died unexpectedly June 10. He was Born in Biddeford, Maine May 23, 1952. Graduated from Thorton Academy; attended the University of Prince Edward Island and Baylor University. He participated in all sports, excelling in football and baseball. He served in the army for 10 years. For four of these years ,he was a Chief Warrant Officer, utility/observation helicopter pilot. After leaving the service, he worked as a Benefits Counselor for the Department of Veterans Affairs in Washington, DC for 25 years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Maryland, Kings Point sportsman's club and the Kings Point Executive Golf Club. He retired in 2009 and moved to Florida. He was witty, clever, and charismatic. He was a light hearted person that could make anyone laugh. He will live forever in the hearts of his family. He is survived by his parents, Jovis and Rosa Fortier Gerry, a sister Carol and her husband Darrell Harp of Fort Lauderdale, Fl., his wife Cynthia and son Kyle of Bowie, MD and a daughter Amanda of Las Vegas, NV , and several aunts and uncles in Saco, ME. there will be a funeral mass Monday, June 18, at eleven o'clock, at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Sun City Center, Fl. Burial will be at the Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery in Maryland.
