Bruce Brockway 76, passed away in Sun City Center, FL on June 27, 2016 after a short illness.
Born on July 24, 1939 in Lockport, he was the son of Henry and Genevieve Koons Brockway.
He was a graduate of Lockport High School in 1958 and served in the U.S. Army from 1963-65. Bruce worked at Harrison Radiator, retiring in 1995.
In 2000 he fulfilled his dream of moving to Florida. Bruce was an avid auto racing fan and enjoyed traveling to races and cruising. He was a past member of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary and Tuscarora Yacht Club. He volunteered for Siamese Cat Rescue.
Bruce is survived by his wife Teri (Cummings) Brockway of Sun City Center, his children Alicia Radosky(Stan) of Appleton, and Kevin Brockway (Lisa Brigham) of Gasport. He also leaves behind grandchildren, Ashley Raimondi (Joe), Sara Mascareil, Kevin Brockway Jr. the late Christina George and 6 great-grandchildren. He is survived by his sister Adrienne Crecelius of Sun City Center and a nephew Jeffrey Crecelius(Lenita).
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date by the family.
