Schmeiser, Carol, 95, of Tampa passed away after a short illness on October 15, 2012. Carol was born on December 18, 1916 to Harry and Edith Harlow in Chicago, Il. She married the love of her life, William Schmeiser, on April 17, 1943. They resided in Aurora, Il where Carol volunteered in the schools. Carol enjoyed traveling with Bill, bird watching, needle point, painting, family and friends. An avid baseball fan, she followed the Cubs and later the Rays. After Bill retired, they moved to Seven Springs Country Club to live out their retirement dreams. Her kind and caring spirit will be greatly missed. Carol was welcomed into heaven by Bill, her beloved husband of 55 years, brother Harry and sister-in-law, and niece, Carrie Hershman. Carol is survived by her nieces Lucy(Stan)Denning and Ann(Jack)Phipps, nephews Rev. Dr. Robert(Colleen) Schmeiser and William Schmeiser, close friend Sharon(Dave)Ogborn and family and friends. The family wishes to thank the staff at Brighton Gardens of Tampa for the loving care extended to Carol.
