Chester "Chet" R. Nicholas, age 73, passed away Tuesday morning January 16, 2018 of natural causes. Chet was born May 7th, 1944 in West Virginia, but was a life-long resident of Tampa, FL. He attended Chamberlain High School and joined the United States Navy shortly after High School. He was a well-established drywall contractor in the Tampa Bay area and lived his life doing what he loved most: working and spending time with family.

Chet is survived by his two children: Rhonda Dorin and Darla Nicholas; sister: Janet Radke (Ron Radke); brother: Emory Nicholas (Linda Middleton Nicholas), and his grandchildren: Drew Mercer, Carol Mercer, Samantha Dorin, Scarlett Oneal, and Nicholas Oneal. He is also survived by his seven great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and his former wife, Carol Nicholas.
