Clark "MAC" Edward McHenry passed away peacefully in his home in Ruskin on Monday Nov 25th 2013. He is survived by Wife Sylvia of Pensacola, son Kevin of New Jersey and daughter Kathleen of Maine, two grandsons Dustin & Brandon of Maine and Stepsons Jeff of Florida & Chris of California. Mac was oldest of 11 children born 06/13/1937 to Lillian & Clark "Pep" McHenry 10 siblings Katherine, Sandra, John, Tim Martha, Debbie, Patrick, Michele, Robin, and Wendy. Mac was a Sargent 1st class in the United States Army Thailand, Germany & Greenland 1960-1982. He retired in to his home town of Oswego NY where he worked for the City Water Dept. for 10 years. He was the past commander of VFW 5885 for 4 years. He was the Ancient order of Hibernians president. He was a loyal order of the moose initiated in 1958. Mac was elected veteran of the year in 2009 for his dedication and service too many Memorial and Veterans Day ceremonies. He also has done a lot to enhance the veteran's memorial park in Oswego NY.
