Dana Lynn Stidham of Riverview, Florida passed away on September 13, 2020 with her family by her side after a year of battling cancer. Dana was born and raised in the Riverview area where she met her husband, James Stephen Stidham. They raised their family in the area and had three beautiful girls.

Dana enjoyed trips to the Blue Ridge Mountains each year with friends she considered family. She dreamed of one day moving to the mountains. She loved animals and found her passion in these past years by helping rescue unwanted dogs. She favored the boxer breed, but breed really didn't matter once she saw the soul of those misunderstood fur babies. She helped find the right homes, and for some of the more difficult placements, they were given a place in her very own home. She found after being in the rescue a while, that her heart was filled for the senior pets. She gave them their best ending years with all the love you might give a puppy, she gave to the seniors to make them comfortable and happy. She loved cheering on the University of Alabama football team. Roll Tide!

Dana is survived by her husband, James Stephen Stidham, her children, Kimberly Stidham, Danielle Stidham, and Rylie Stidham, her brother, Daniel Richie, and her brother, Jerry Miller, Jr., and by many beautiful fur babies.

Dana was preceded in death by her father, Daniel Richie, Sr., her mother Judy Miller, and her step-father, Jerry L. Miller, Sr.
