Donald E. Brooks, 82, of Sun City Center , Florida went home to be with his Lord October 30, 2009. He was a member and deacon of Trinity Baptist Church. Formally of Columbus, Ohio, he served in the U.S. Navy 1945 -1948, retired from Rockwell International in 1984 after 35 years of service. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Florein Brooks; sister, Pauline Anderson. Survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Esther J. Brooks; son, Scott Brooks; daughters, Leslie "Lollie" and her husband, Kim Smith and Sherry Frank; sisters, JoAnne Pavlovic and Patricia Beavers; grandchildren, Allison, Carl, Michael and Andrew Frank. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 4, 2009, at Trinity Baptist Church in Sun City Center, Florida. Interment will be in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.
