Donald F. Wilbert, 89, passed away
August 17, 2017 at home under the care of hospice.
Survivors include his loving wife Patricia,
sons Dr. Mitchell Wilbert (Jamie), Kelly Wilbert (Lesa),
Alan Wilbert (Mary), daughters Christine Stanley,
Cheryl Kapfer (Randy), Gwen Wilbert-Ford (Robert)
and step children, Kathleen Bolduc (Greg),
Mary Ward (Chris), Rev. Richard Mahaffy II (Douglas),
thirteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
He was predeceased in death by grandson, Patrick Bolduc.
His life time career was spent as a master carpenter,
specializing in historical restoration.
He owned Wilbert Lumber Company and Wilbert Custom Mill Works.
In his retirement he was employed as a Realtor in Sun City Center.
Don enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf, traveling,
wood working and being with family and friends.
He served as past president of the Sawdust Engineers,
and was a volunteer for the Sun City Center Security Patrol,
Meals on Wheels and past vestry member of the Episcopal Church.
His greatest joy was assisting family with the
construction and renovations of their homes.
The memorial service will be held on
Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 11 a.m., at
St. John Devine Episcopal Church,
1015 Del Webb E. in Sun City Center, FL.
