Doris Fay Buzbee, aged 95, passed away on November 19, 2024, in Ruskin, FL. Born on March 6, 1929, Doris dedicated her life to her faith, her family, and her community.
A devout Christian, Doris was a long-time member of the First Baptist Church of Ruskin, where she found great solace and joy in her faith. Her commitment to God and her family was evident in every aspect of her life, and she cherished the moments spent with her loved ones.
Doris was the cherished mother of Ann Fuller, Jane Bigica, Bill Buzbee, and Kay Taylor. She was a proud grandmother to 19 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and 28 great-great-grandchildren. Her family was her pride and joy, and she leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion that will be cherished by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charlie Buzbee; her sons, Chuck and Don Buzbee; her granddaughter, Jill Buzbee; and her parents, two brothers, and a sister.
The visitation and service to honor Doris's life will be held on November 25, 2024, at the First Baptist Church of Ruskin, located at 820 W College Ave, Ruskin, FL 33570. Visitation will begin at 10 am, followed by the service at 11 am.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to LifePath Hospice, an organization that Doris supported for many years. Her kindness, generosity, and unwavering faith will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know her.
