Obituary
Edward Ward Jr. was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Edward Ward Sr. and Ileen Hodges on January 24, 1939.
He passed away Sunday May 25, 2014 at the age of 75 in Sun City Center, Florida after a week long battle with pneumonia.
After high school Ed served two years in the Army with the 33rd Armor 2nd U.S Army Division. He then worked 20 years at INA Insurance of North America, following that he worked for Kmart as an Assistant manager for 5 years. He finished his career working at the Ruskin Post Office where he retired after 25 years of service.
Ed is survived by his wife Jo Ellen Ward and his children; Mark Douglas Edmiston, Donna Leslie Jenkins and John Rene Edmiston. Siblings; Joy Cipressi, Gary Michael Ward and numerous Nieces, Nephews and Grandchildren.
Eddie was preceded in death by his parents Edward, Ileen Ward and younger brother William Ward.
Ed will be remembered best for his warm loving personality and selfless acts of kindness.
The family will have a visitation on Friday May 30, 2014 at Zipperer's Funeral Home starting at 4 pm, with Funeral Service starting at 5:15 pm.
