"We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Eleanor "Ellie" Ann Morrow King, who passed away December 17, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. Ellie was born on February 24, 1955, in Tampa FL to James & Bonnie Morrow. She grew up in Riverview, FL with her loving sister Brenda Morrow Selner, and in 1974 she married her high school sweetheart David Wayne King. Together, they raised three children: twin daughters Kristine (Kristy) Lynn King and Julie Ann King Lyles (married to Jay Lyles) and son, Brian James King. Ellie was also blessed with granddaughter, Lilah Ann Lyles.

Ellie was a devoted Christian who loved the Lord and was a shining light to all who knew her. She was a retired nurse who had dedicated her life to caring for others. Her strength and resilience were evident when she underwent a liver transplant at the age of 40. Despite the challenges she faced, she always had a beautiful smile on her face and made everything look effortless.

To celebrate Ellie's life, we invite all who knew and loved her to join us Saturday January 20th. Services held at Northside Baptist Church (1301 N US 41 - Ruskin, FL 33570) at 2pm with Fellowship & Food immediately following at Alpha House/Apollo Pizza (1312 Apollo Beach Blvd - Apollo Beach, FL 33572). Catered food provided and looking forward to shared stories of your favorite memory of Ellie King.

While we will deeply miss Ellie here on earth, we take comfort in the knowledge that she is now with the Lord, reunited with loved ones who have passed before her."
