89, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 30, 2013 at Brandon Regional Hospital, Brandon,FL.
Born in Plainfield, NJ, Eleanor resided in Plainfield and North Plainfield before moving to Riverview, Florida in 1990 with her husband Bill.
Eleanor loved her new home and life in Riverview, making friends wherever she went. She was a member of the Elks, learned to play golf and even shot a hole-in-one. She loved to socialize, going on cruises, enjoyed dancing and just being with friends. She was a loving and thoughtful person.
Eleanor is predeceased by William her husband of 51 years. Eleanor is survived by her beloved partner John Ashton; her son Craig Myers and daughter-in-law Marianne of Basking Ridge, NJ; daughter Jane McMahon and son-in-law Jim of Glen Gardner, NJ; her brother Arthur Gross of North Plainfield, NJ; her grandson Peter Myers and his wife Christine; granddaughters Erica and Karen; as well as great grandchildren Nicholas and Julia; nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held 11:00AM on Friday, September 6, 2013 at Zipperer's Funeral Home in Ruskin, Florida.
