Obituary
Elizabeth Ann "Betty" Sobus née Flury, 88, of Tampa, Florida, passed away on February 13, 2026. Born in Baltimore, Maryland on September 4, 1938, Betty was loved by all who knew her. Her "tell it like it is" personality and positive outlook on life was admirable and endearing. She will be missed dearly.
Betty was predeceased by her husband, James J. Sobus. She is survived by her three daughters, Deborah Ann Trentler (John), Patricia Ann Wiggins (Scott), and Catherine Ann Napoli; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held in Baltimore at the Oak Lawn Cemetery, 7225 Eastern Ave, Baltimore, MD 21224. The date for the service will be announced at a later time.
