Ernest Russell Simmons 73, passed
away September 14, 2017 at his home in Ruskin,
Florida, under the care of Hospice, family and friends.
Ernest was born November 24, 1943 to Loretta Lester
and Russell Simmons in Marlette, Michigan.
Ernest is survived by his wife Peggy Sue Simmons
of 47 years of marriage, children; Penny (Tommy) Shephard of Fl.
Kimberly (John) Bigger, MI, Wayne Simmons of MI, Lester Simmons of FL.,
Doreen (Bernice) Reese of MI, Denise Simmons of FL.
Patricia (James) Drake of Fl. Sisters; Bonnie (Howard) Tucker of MI,
Louis Brigham of Georgia. Many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He is proceeded in death by his son
Aaron J. Simmons in 2009, daughter Michele Lynn Simmons
in 2011 both from Apollo Beach Florida.
Ernest loved being outdoors hunting,
fishing, loved his children, family and friends.
He loved life itself.
At his request, cremation only with no services.
