Ethel Barfield, 75, of Ruskin, Flordia was carried home by angels on Sunday, Aug. 14, 2011. Ethel was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt. She will be forever missed. She is survived by two sons, Larry H. Barfield Sr. of Ruskin and Jerry Barfield (Victoria ) of Crystal Beach, Florida; four daughters, Brenda Figueroa (Carlos) and Violet Barfield of Ruskin, Mary Wright (Jacky) of Gibsonton and Sylvia Thomas (Billy) of Wimauma; and four others she lovingly fulfilled the mother role for, Larry Barfield Jr. (Holly), Kenneth Barfield (Michelle) both of Virginia, Kimberly Barfield (Jeff) of Ruskin and Gayle Scott (Owen) of Apollo Beach, Florida; 11 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Jeanette Miller (Luther) and Maggie Mae Barfield of Alabama. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hurley Barfield; her parents, Nick and Fannie Mae Anglin; two brothers, Edward Anglin and John Anglin; two sisters, Doris Walker and Clyde Ester Morrow. A visitation will be held 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, August 17, 2011, at Zipperer's Funeral Home. Graveside funeral ceremony will be 11 a.m., Thursday, August 18, 2011 at Fellowship Cemetery with the Pastor R.L. Brady officiating.
