Obituary
Florian Louis Beles 89 of Brandon Florida passed away peacefully at his home
surrounded by his family on February 21, 2024.
Florian was born in Oak Park Illinois on July 23, 1934. He grew up in Three Oaks, Michigan, graduating from New Buffalo High School in 1952. He enlisted in the US Army in 1953 and was stationed at Fort Bliss in El Paso Texas where he met and married Romona Belmontes on September 17, 1955. He started his career at Twin City Engraving in St. Joseph, Michigan He owned and operated two Tastee-Freeze stores and later opened Berrien Real Estate Service. Florian and Romana moved to Brandon, Florida where he was a mortgage servicer.
Romana preceded him in death on August 30, 2014. He is survived by his three children: Regina (Steven) Warmbein, Mark (Tammy) Beles, Roxane (Rodney) Pullen and his companion Francine Herlovich.
Funeral arrangements are being made. Memorial donations can be made in his
name to Nativity Catholic Church in Brandon, Florida
