Obituary
Floyd F. Guyette (Skeeter), September 7, 1943 - February 18, 2018, passed away at Manatee Memorial Hospital due to complication from surgery. Floyd was a resident of Ruskin, FL with his wife Virginia Salz Hake Guyette. Floyd and Virginia married for 25 blissful years.
Floyd worked at Ultramar Petroleum, in addition to the owner/operator of Guyette's Garage, (Massena, NY). Most recently owner of a golf cart rental and repair business. Floyd cared deeply for his family and others. A true jokester but always kind at heart. He was helpful to all and willing to do any project.
Floyd survived by his children, Holly M. Van Winkle, husband Walter, of Fairfax VT. Rita M. Goodman, husband Scott, of Zebulon, NC. Grandchildren, Nicholas Van Winkle, wife Chantal, of Georgia, VT. Andrew and Meghan Goodman of Zebulon, NC. Great-grandchildren, Alexander and Oliver Van Winkle of Georgia, VT. But who will truly miss Floyd the most is his best friend, Abby the dog,
Floyds parents, Rowley and Annabelle Guyette of Massena, NY have already passed so they all are peacely together now. Donations may be made to Hillsborough County Hospice. Services are private with the immediate family.
