Frances Marie Quick was born March 10, 1921, in Big Stone City, South Dakota, the daughter of Gilbert and Elizabeth (Ahartz) Wolf. She was baptized and confirmed into the Catholic faith. She grew up and attended school in South Dakota. Frances was united in marriage to Leo Quick. This union was blessed with five children. Frances was a housewife and worked as a secretary for Midwest Wine Co. She loved to crochet and spend time with her grandchildren. Frances was called from this life on Sunday, February 15, 2009 at Golden Living Center in Benson. She attained the age of 87 years, 11 months and 5 days. Frances is survived by her children: Doug (Karen) Quick of Lakeville, Pat (Tom) McGeary of Benson, Jim (Scheila) Quick of Lino Lakes, Mary (Rick) Faiman of Shoreview, and Carol (Joe) Nash of Little Canada; nine grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; and other relatives and friends. Preceding her in death were her husband Leo in 2000; her parents Gilbert and Elizabeth; one brother, Father James Wolf; and one sister, Sister Martina Wolf, OSB.
