George J. Smith 94, of Ruskin, Florida
died Sunday, March 19, 2017.
Born in 1922 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

He served our country proud as
a Technical Sergeant in the Army during WWII
and received the Purple Heart
other distinguished medals.

Married to Thelma (the love of his life)
for over 50 years.
She passed away back in 2015.

He leaves his daughter, Alice Gayton,
granddaughters; Lara (Husband Mike), Debbie,
five great-grandchildren; Brittany,
Shane, Brooke, Brett and Brian.

From a previous marriage, he leaves a
son, Barry Smith (wife Bonnie),
daughter Becky Wessel (husband Greg),
two granddaughters; Alex and Carolyn.

In his memory donations can
be made to Wounded Warriors.

George and Thelma will be laid to rest at
Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
