George Edward Smith (Bugs), 63, of Wimauma, FL passed peacefully in his home on February 28, 2023. George is preceded in death by his wife Susan K. Smith. He is survived by his Mother Marie Verne; Children Gena (Jay), Chris (Amy), Jordan (Brendan), Taylor; Stepchildren Amanda (Jay), Andrew; Grandchildren Jason (Cierra), Evie, Austin, Jayda, Cailyn, Addison, Lily, Adriana, Waylon, William, Brooklyn; Great-Grandchildren Kristen, Jazlynn.

George Spent most of His life in the Ruskin/Wimauma area. He raised his family in the area as well. He enjoyed the rivers, boating, mud trucks, dancing and of course his recliner. He spent most of his life fixing and restoring cars. He could fix anything, if you couldn't figure out how to do something George was the call you could always make. If he didn't know how to fix it, he would figure it out. He and his late wife were always willing to help those in need and wanted to see everyone better themselves and succeed. The light of his life were his grandchildren, he would do anything for them and to make them laugh. He was truly a one-of-a-kind person, who is loved and will be truly missed by so many.
