Gordon (Gordy) Ray Cummings
Gordon passed away peacefully at home after a short but vigorous struggle with pancreatic cancer on July 5,2018.
Gordon was born November 15th 1946 in Schenectady NY to Martha & Harold Cummings. He attended Waukesha High School where he loved football, wrestling and swimming then furthered his education at Waukesha Tech and Milton College in WI. In High school he met and later married Donna Jenkins Redmer, the mother of his children. He and Donna were divorced in 1980 but remained friends and wonderful parents. He spent his working years in Waukesha with RTE (now Cooper Industries).
In December of 2008 he met the love of his life, Pam. They were married within a year at a beautiful ceremony in Cozumel Mexico. He retired and they spent many happy years traveling around the world plus splitting their time between their homes in WI and Sun City Center FL.
Gordon was a kind and gentle man who had a great love of history and golf. Through his passion for golf he made many friends at Renaissance Golf Club, where you could find him most every day. In the evenings he enjoyed cuddling up with Pam and their cats (Callie & Grace) while watching TV.
Gordon is survived by his wife Pam Whitnall Cummings, mother Martha Felter Cummings, children Brian Cummings and Laura (Chuck) Duncan and grandchildren Skyler Clarin & Lucas Duncan, brothers Stephen (Sue) and David (Kathy), and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday July 28th at St. Andrew's Church 1239 Del Webb Blvd W Sun City Center FL with dinner to follow.
A second celebration of life will be held in Wisconsin at 10:30 AM on Saturday Oct. 6th at Jerusalem Presbyterian Church 207 W. Main St. Wales WI with lunch to follow.

Placement of ashes will be at 1:00 PM on Friday October 5th 2018 at Forest Home Cemetery 2405 W. Forest Home Ave Milwaukee WI.
Flowers may be sent to the church or memorial donations can be sent to Habitat for Humanity in Gordon's name.
