Heather Lucille "Mousy Mouse" Steffen, was born on July 29, 1948, the daughter of John and Lucille (Lardie) McCaskill, in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. She grew up in Deer Park Texas. She was united in marriage to Merle Steffen on September 22, 1993 in Raymond, MN. She enjoyed antiques, arts and crafts, and cooking. Heather was called from this life on March 17th, 2010, at the Golden Living Center-Meadowlane Health Care Center in Benson Minnesota. She attained the age of 61 years, 7 months and 20 days. Heather is survived by her husband, Merle of Benson, MN; three children; Travis(Dana) Sparks, of Deer Park Texas, Nikki (Creig) Artis of Wallisville, Texas, and Sabrina (Preston) Teague of Baytown, Texas; 6 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; and two sisters Carolyn (Darol) Dimmick of Deer Park, Texas, and Jackie (Jessie) Barrack of NewPort News, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Lucille McCaskill.
