Helen S. Boyd, 87 of Ruskin, Florida, formally of Rome, New York passed away on April 10, 2014. She was born on August 23, 1926, daughter of Adolf and Anna Fizek Sobik. A graduate of Westmoreland High School she was united in marriage to Gerald R. Boyd on December 19, 1947 in Lowell Methodist Church. She and her husband owned and operated a dairy farm and mobile home park in Lowell, New York. She is survived by, her daughter, Naomi Boyd – Genther; granddaughter and goddaughter Helen V. Beauchamp; great-granddaughter, Jennifer Ippollito (Vince); two great-great-grandchildren, Bella and Eli Ippollito. She is preceded in death by her husband Gerald and Son Gerald Jr. She will be interred in Lowell Cemetery, Lowell New York.
