Helen Christin Jensen was born December 8, 1943 in Osakis, Minnesota, the daughter of Frank and Thelma (Lund) McArdell. Helen was baptized as an infant at home, and was confirmed into the Christian faith at Osakis Lutheran Church. She grew up in Osakis and graduated from Osakis High School. On November 25, 1977, Helen was married to Everett E. Jensen, Sr. in Chaska, Minnesota. She lived and worked in Minneapolis and Rosemount. Helen enjoyed sewing and was an adult and child caregiver. Helen was called from this life on May 29, 2009 at Swift County Benson Hospital. She attained the age of 65 years, 5 months and 21 days. Helen is survived by her husband Everett of Benson; her children: Edouard (Christina) Kurschner of Zimmerman, Everett Jensen, Jr., and Karen (Kenneth) Billings of Lakeville; nine grandchildren: Tia, LaTasha, Jeanett, Edouard, Jr., Alexander, William, Otto, Samantha, and Christopher; siblings: Ruth (Richard) Thompson of Evansville, Rose (Joseph) Wogan of Benson, Ida (Richard) Breitkreutz of St. Cloud, Sarah McArdell of Shakopee, Ella (Mike) Gilbert of Villard, and Tom (Patty) McArdell of Mora; and other relatives and friends. Preceding her in death were her son, Herbert Jensen; parents, Frank and Thelma; and brothers: Fred and John McArdell.
