Helen Tiffany was born January 20, 1933 in Milbank, South Dakota, the daughter of William and Goldie (Miller) Conner. She was baptized and confirmed into the Christian faith at the Methodist Church in Milbank by Pastor Grinager. She attended grade school in Twin Brooks, SD, and graduated from Milbank High School. On December 15, 1957, Helen was united in marriage to Leonard Tiffany at Milbank, South Dakota. The couple was blessed with two sons and 52 years of marriage. Helen spent her time taking care of the home and raising their sons. She also worked part time in the restaurant business in Benson. She was a member of the Pilgrim Congregational United Church of Christ in Benson and the VFW Auxiliary. Among the things she enjoyed were baking, making latchhook rugs, playing BINGO, and fishing. Helen was called from this life on Friday, December 17, 2010 at Meadow Lane Health Care Center in Benson. She attained the age of 77 years, 10 months and 27 days. Helen is survived by her sons: William Tiffany of Benson and Patrick Tiffany of Minnetonka; two grandchildren: Zachary and Quincy Tiffany; nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends. Preceding her in death were her husband Leonard in April, 2010; her parents, William and Goldie; two sisters: Donna and Myrtle; and one brother William.
