Ida Mae, Griffin 77, departed this earth the morning of September 7, 2011. Ida was born Scottsburg, IN on February 23, 1934 to Harold and Lady Mae Blume. She is survived by her loving husband, Jack W. Griffin of 36 years. She is also survived by hers sons Charles and Jim (Debbie) Baker, step-daughter Jennifer (Patrick) Maher and grandchildren Chuck, Amanda, and Andrea as well as great-grandchildren, Joshua, Nathan and Emily. Her precious cats Rosie and Cloie will miss her also. She was the originator of Toys from the Phantom Santa that provided toys for needy children while living in Indiana. She moved to Apollo Beach, Florida in 1985. She shared the Real Estate business and traveling the world with her husband. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 10th at 4 till 6 at Zipperer's Funeral Home at 1520 33rd ST SE, Ruskin, Florida 33570.
