Irene Barbara Johnston, age 66, passed away peacefully in her home in Ruskin, Florida on 05/12/2019 due to her battle with cancer. She was born 12/2/1952 in Gratiot County, Michigan. She is preceded in death by her parents, Carmen and Virgina Mancini and her sisters, Mary Mancini and Nancy Campbell. She married her surviving husband, Richard Johnston, on 04/13/1985.

Irene loved her family. She was always concerned if we were safe. Anyone who knew Irene knows she loved to work and clean. She was a restless woman who constantly had to be on the move. She took pride in her work and was very good at it. She loved visiting her grandson every weekend and thought the world of him.

Irene is survived by her brothers and sisters Annie Roth, Carmen Mancini Jr., Nelson Mancini, David Mancini, and Vivian Mancini. Also, her children Jerry Wayne Fox Jr., Danielle Espinoza and her husband Carlos Espinoza. And grandchildren, Kendra Fox, Kaylob Dowsett, Emily Fox, and Lorenzo Espinoza.


We will be having a private family memorial in honor of Irene at a future date.
