Jacqueline "Jacquie" Pride Hurley, 81, peacefully
entered into eternal rest from her home that she
shared with her husband of 60+ years, Bill Hurley.
Born in Minneapolis in 1935,
she is survived by her husband Bill,
her three sons and their wives,
Bob Hurley and his wife Judy, Roger Hurley
and his wife Cindy, and Steve Hurley and his wife Susan,
adult grandchildren Matt and Lindsay Hurley,
Caitlin and Sean McCann and her great granddaughter Mia Hurley.
She is also survived by her
Sister Muriel Fishman and her husband Irv,
Kathy and Steven Feinstein, Colleen, Mike, and
Kelly Harrity, and other nieces and nephews.
Jacquie grew up in Albuquerque, NM
and attended college at the University of New Mexico
after graduating from Highland High School.
She and Bill met in college. They raised their 3 boys while
Bill spent his career in aviation and they lived in Texas,
Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Florida and Washington.
Jacquie earned her real estate license and enjoyed a
successful career in real estate while living in Lakeland FL
and in San Antonio, TX after the boys were in their teens.
She enjoyed antiques and later opened an antique store in San Antonio, TX.
Having traveled in their motorhome after Bill's retirement in 2000,
they settled back in San Antonio before moving to Sun City Center, FL in 2013.
The family has asked to please make a donation
to the Sun City Center Emergency Squad in lieu of flowers.
