James Jackson Lewis "Jack"
Born in 1961 in Marathon, FL
to the late Guy Lewis and Eleanor "Nell" Minot,
Jack spent his early years fishing around the Florida Keys.
He attended the Vanguard School in Lake Wales, FL from 1970 to 1979
where he met and fell in love with his wife of 34 years, Karen (Wood).
He had a deep passion for the ocean and
made his early living as a commercial fisherman.
Jack and Karen eventually moved their family to Pennsylvania
where Jack was a loyal civilian employee at the Tobyhanna Army Depot.
In his free time, Jack loved travelling, snowmobiling with his brother-in-law's,
and cheering on the Miami Dolphins and Florida Panthers.
He lived for weekends spent laughing with family
and summers on the St Lawrence River.
Jack was always willing to lend a hand and
open his heart to all of his friends and family.
His honesty, laughter, and passion for life will be dearly missed.
Jack is survived and will be deeply missed in by his wife, Karen,
daughter and son-in-law, Marlea and Daron Whitmore,
daughter Deanna, half-brother Bobby Lewis,
aunt Mason Cable, cousins Louise Rodgers and Steven Cable,
mother and father-in-law Jack and Katy Wood,
brother-in-law's Jeff and Darryl Wood and
their families and beloved family dog, Boozer.
