Jane "Janie" Wells, 61, of Riverview entered her eternal rest on Friday, May 17, 2024 at home, surrounded by her loving family.

Jane was born on June 19, 1962, in Haverhill, Massachusetts to the late William and Geraldine Moran. After starting her family early in life she began her career in the medical field and later went on to proudly obtain her M.S. in Human Services.

Jane loved soaking up the sun, whether it be at the beach, pool, or on the lake. Little Harbor was one of her favorite places to spend the weekend with her husband. When at home, you would find her snuggled up with her puppies Kenadi, Kloey and her late dog Zoey, or playing with her granddaughter Isla who brought a smile to her face like no other. She had an innate creativity, a steadfast love for her Lord, and a light that she brought to every room she entered. Of all the things that brought Jane joy, nothing filled her heart more than being with her daughters. That ultimately influenced her move to Florida, where soon after she met her forever love.

She is survived by her husband Craig Wells Jr., Daughters Lori Oconnell, Taryn Mirandette, Kayleigh Carleton and Samantha Cunningham. She is also survived by stepdaughters Briunna Lackey, Kaylee Wells and stepson, Craig Wells III, two brothers, a sister, many nieces and nephews, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

A celebration of life in Jane's honor will be announced at a later date.
