Janice Peccia was born April 4, 1934 to Ingvald and Alpha (Wolla) Anderson of Swift Falls, Minnesota. Jan was baptized and confirmed by the Swift Falls Lutheran Church and lived her entire life as a Lutheran Christian. Jan completed grade school at Swift Falls, high school at Benson (1952), college at Concordia College at Moorhead, receiving a BS in Elementary Education and Psychology in 1957, and a Masters Degree at Montana State University in Bozeman in Elementary Education Curriculum and Instruction. She also received years of teacher recertification. While at Concordia in 1955, Jan married Don Aanenson. Two sons, Robin and Randall, and two daughters, Jolynn and Darcy, were born of this union. The marriage was dissolved in 1969. Jan met and married Albert Peccia in 1970, gaining four stepchildren. First and foremost, Jan enjoyed family and friends. She also enjoyed teaching, sewing, jigsaw puzzles, and playing scrabble, cards, etc. Jan was called from this life on Friday, August 5, 2011. She attained the age of 77. Jan is survived by her husband, Albert Peccia of Manhattan, MT; children: Rob (Nikki) Aanenson, Randy Aanenson, Jolynn (Barney) Kerr, and Darcy Aanenson; and her stepchildren: Anna Lou (Chuck) Lucas, Sondra (John Koch) Peccia, Jewel (Bob) Larsen, and Rick Peccia. Life was further enriched by 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
