Obituary
Jayne Ellen (Dellinger) Auksel passed away in her home on July 8, 2023 after many years of suffering from lung cancer and infection.
Jayne (68) was born in Lafayette, IN, the Daughter of Charles Leroy and Doris Louise (Hinds) Dellinger. She graduated from Lafayette Jefferson High School in 1973. A long-time resident of Lafayette, she moved to Tampa, FL in 2014.
She was preceded in death by her husband James A. Auksel (December 7, 2021). She is survived by her Sisters Jeri (Bill) Fouts and Anita (James) Wood, Brother Timothy (Elaine) Dellinger; Sons David (Melanie Brockmeier) and Daniel Jordy; Grandchildren Taylor, Caleb, Griffin, and Lincoln Jordy; and Step-Grandchildren Brodie, Carson, and Noah Brockmeier. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
No services will be held at this time. The family asks in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the American Cancer Society at https://donate.cancer.org or by calling 1-800-227-2345.
