John Gordon Barton Sr. Born December 10, 1928. He was 90 years old. Married for 64 years to his wife Pat. There are three children- Beth-Ann Fortunato and spouse Donny, Sheryl Tomlinson and spouse Curt, John G. Barton Jr. and spouse Nancy and 5 grandchildren: Paul and Carolyn; Chelsea; and Jenna and Johnny; and one great grandson--Maddox.

Jack enjoyed a lifetime love of the beach, from the time of a young age renting chairs on beach of Atlantic City, NJ. After meeting the love of his life Pat, they married in Philadelphia and moved to the suburbs in Warminster, PA. after the birth of the children. He had a career at Leeds and Northrup for 38 years. He started as a stock boy and became lead expeditor. He enjoyed traveling, camping and family. Jack was a faithful servant at Hatboro Baptist Church serving as a deacon, singing in the choir and attending men's retreats. After retirement his dream was to move to Florida for the warmth and lifestyle. They had a beautiful home in Port Charlotte Florida for eighteen years. They moved to Aston Gardens in 2011 and have met some wonderful friends and neighbors through the years. He had a quick mind for puzzles and was known for his sense of humor, watching the Eagles and golf on TV. He had a great way of telling stories and making them come alive. He will certainly be missed.
