John "Jay" Maurice JR passed away peacefully in his home on Sunday, June 10Th 2018 leaving behind his family of 4 his wife, Samantha, of 22 years and three children; Marissa (17), John (J.J) (14), and Angelina (12). Jay was always known for making everyone smile and always making whatever room he was in laugh. He had many jobs but the most memorable was his job at APEC, where his passion flourished in I.T. At APEC, he made many friends that were more family than just coworkers. He would always volunteer at the yearly marathon put on by the company by grilling food for the runners. He has a heart of gold always allowing family and friends a place to stay. He had many passions which he involved in everyday life like; fishing he would always enjoy a day on the boat with friends or taking his kids out fishing, grilling making his family a homecooked meal every Sunday, and many sci-fi shows and movies. Along with activities he would always share his music with others, influencing his children with bands like Beastie Boys, Green Day, and Sublime. He would always enjoy a night in with his family watching sports teams play or watching WWE. He always made his family and others lives easier by doing computer work at home and for others. He always put family first by making sure they have everything to live their best life. He would always take his son out to see the latest Marvel or Star Wars movies and sometimes pay a little extra to take the family as well. He was a great father, husband, mentor, friend, and coworker. He will be missed dearly by all.
