Obituary
John Edward Totsch of Ruskin, FL was born on February 16, 1952, in Michigan. He went home to be with Jesus on October 12, 2025 following an extended illness.
John was a beloved member of Ruskin Methodist Church for 35 years. He was active in the Methodist Men's group, as well as a volunteer in the RMC Thrift Shop. John was always ready to help around the church and participated in many church activities.
His other interests were fishing, heavy machinery, watching Westerns, and attending the races at East Bay Raceway. He will be missed by his fellow McDonalds diners.
John will long be remembered for his kind heart, gentle spirit, and his eagerness to help.
John was preceded in death by his mother, Neva, Father Emmit, and sister, Carol Greene. He is survived by his brother, William, and friend, Markita Willis, as well as his beloved dog, Bubby.
His church family at Ruskin Methodist church acknowledges his countless hours of volunteerism, his quiet presence in church, and his truly gentle spirit and kind nature. He will be missed.
A Celebration of Life will be held for John at Ruskin Methodist Church, 105 4th Ave., Ruskin, FL, 33570, at 11:00 am, on Saturday October 25, 2025. All who knew and loved John are invited to attend.
