Joyce Annette Weborg of Sun City Center, Florida passed away January 10, 2013.
Joyce Annette See was born in Jamestown NY to Ebba Palm See and Leo See on January 22, 1924 and lived in Celoron, NY most of her life.
At the age of eighteen she eloped with Dean Weborg. This unconventional start made for a very successful union and they were married for 65 years until Dean's death in 2009.
Joyce worked at a variety of jobs, as a chemist, a buyer for Nelsons Department store and in the catalog dept. at Sears. Her most important role was that of loving daughter, wife and mother. She was a wonderful cook and everyday dinners, family events and picnics were warm, filled with love, laughter and always too much food. This is how she will be remembered
Joyce and Dean retired to Florida in 2001 and lived in Manatee RV Park and later Kings Point,
Joyce is survived by two daughters: Lee Ann (Don) Berns of Sun City Center, Florida and Kim Annette (Paul) Weborg-Benson of Mayville, NY, three grandchildren: Timothy (Kara) Berns of Springfield, NH, Hunter Weborg Benson of Cleveland OH, and Cassidy Annette Benson of Mayville, NY and one great grandson Matthew Dean Berns of Springfield, NH.
A memorial service for the family will be held in the late spring. In lieu of flowers contributions may be given to the Sun City Center Emergency Squad, 720 Ray Watson Drive, Sun City Center, Florida 33573
