Juan Acevedo of Ruskin, Florida, died on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, in Sun City Center, Florida.
He was born in Brooklyn, NY, in 1957 and would have been 68 years old on December 21st.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Juan Jose & Eugenia, and his younger brother, Ricky.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Cathy, his daughter Melissa & son in law Rob, his daughter Mandy & son in law Brett & his son Damian. He was blessed with 3 grandchildren, Connor & Matthew Wickman, and Shea Viala. He is also survived by his big brother, Nelson and his sister in law Vickie, his nephew Chris and his niece, Rachel & her husband Eric, and his little sister, Elaine & brother in law Paul, and his nephew, DJ & his niece, Mia.
He worked as a machinist for more than 25 years at Lourdes Industries, retired from there, and moved with his family to Ruskin, Florida.
He enjoyed listening to music and had a great singing voice. He loved laughing with his friends & family.
He was loved by everyone who was lucky enough to have known him. The world is a little darker without his bright light & his Diente face smiling at anyone looking his way.
