Judy P. (Jody) Powell, 71, of Apollo Beach,
Fl, went to be with her Lord January, 29, 2017
after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer Disease.

Judy was a graduate of The University of Alabama,
where she met her husband of 48 years, Jim Powell.
She was a teacher and over her 30 year
career, taught in three different states.
After retirement, she continued in education by
teaching Faith Formation classes at
St. Anne's Catholic Church in Ruskin.
Judy loved going to the beach, being
with friends and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband,
Jim Powell; 2 children and spouses,
Robin and Michael Council and James and Ashley Powell;
sisters, Pamela Griese and Robin Beidleman;
sister-in-law, Julie Ranelli; 5 grandchildren,
and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held
Saturday, February 4th, 11:00 am,
St. Anne's Catholic Church,
106 11th Ave NE, Ruskin, Fl 33570.
