Obituary
Karen Louise McCoy, who loved to be called "Mom" by her kids, departed her loving family on the 28th day of January 2023.
Karen was born in Pike County, Kentucky, on March 17th, 1957, to George Hall and Emmalou Slone.
Karen was mother to Kayla McCoy and Kellie McCoy. She raised her children with love and devotion in Ruskin, Florida, with her husband Bony McCoy.
Karen was known for her loyalty and hard work. Her hobbies included cooking, watching soap operas, and spoiling her grandchildren. She was most proud of being a mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her daughter, Kayla McCoy, and grandchildren: Kayden McCoy, Kara McCoy-Gargas, and Ella McCoy.
Aside from the children she doted on, Karen is survived by husband, Bony McCoy.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her daughter, Kellie McCoy.
There will be no services at the wishes of the deceased.
Those who wish to remember her, may make gift donations to local schools; Apollo Beach Elementary or LLT Academy Southbay.
