Skau, Karen, 70, of Ruskin, Fl.,
passed away at Life Path Hospice on
Sunday, January 15, 2017.

She is survived by her loving
brother Richard Ostby, dog BoBo of Ruskin,
a cousin Krista Johnson of Chicago, and
best friend Jaime Hurda of Chicago.

Karen married Eddie Skau in 1970 in Chicago.
Married for 19 years, he passed away in 1989.
She attended Roosevelt High School in Chicago
and worked as a secretary in downtown Chicago.
While in Florida, Karen worked in sales for a
short period of time at the Observer News
and also had been a volunteer at C.A.R.E
animal rescue where she adopted BoBo
and gave him a forever home.
She enjoyed the social companionship of friends
at Circles Waterfront Restaurant and
Latitudes Restaurant in Apollo Beach.

There will be no services.
Anyone wishing to make a
financial contribution to help
her brother Richard to offset expenses,
may do so by sending those contributions directly to him.
