88 of Livermore, ME and Ruskin, FL passed
away April 8, 2015 after a brief illness.
Kenneth was born December 21, 1926 in Rumford, ME.
He was predeceased by his wife, Doris (Dupill),
son, Jeffrey, and his parents,
Leroy Jordan and Bessie (Spoffard) Churchill.
Ken is survived by his children Lee of Bellville, MI,
Darlene (Paul Fontaine) of Kensington, CA,
Renee (Carol Walthers) of Turner, ME,
MaryAnn (Kevin Bachelder) of Peru, ME and
his son Jeffrey's (Bente) adored children, Emma and Anna of Hope, ME.
Ken was a veteran and proudly served in the U.S.
Army and National Guard during WWII and the Korean War.
He was married to Doris Dupill on January 7, 1953.
Ken retired from Boise Cascade Paper Mill in
Rumford, ME after 36 years of service.
Ken was actively involved in the
American Legion and VFW and served as
a Boy Scout Master for many years.
In the late 1950's, he built a summer home in Livermore, ME,
which continues to be a gathering place for family
and friends to share good times.
Retirement gave Ken the time to spend winters in Florida,
become actively engaged socially,
become an accomplished wood carver
and enjoy time with his family.
A celebration of Ken's life and
interment will be held in Maine this summer.
In lieu of flowers,
a donation to the American Heart Association would be appreciated.
