Obituary

Larry Alden Farrar passed away November 5, 2009 at home after a four year battle of cancers. Survivors include wife, Mary Elizabeth, whose love was deep and faithful for 26 years; his children are daughters, Terry Popovich and Sandra (Michael) Molosky; sons, Richard (Janet) Farrar and James (Kim) Farrar; stepchildren, Mark (Donna) June, Tamara(Jeff) Lahman and Rebecca (Glen) Magrum. A blend of two families blessed Larry and Mary with nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also seven step-grandchildren and one step great-grandchild. Siblings include: two sisters, Peggy (Leo) Murray, Bonnie Wilhelm and brother, Tommy Farrar. Larry served his country in the Air Force, his career was proudly earned and spent as a "blue collar", skilled trades carpenter with General Motors (SPO) for 37 years. His hobby of chisel wood carving gave him a great since of pride and joy. Larry also enjoyed country two-step and line dancing. Larry hoped he would be remembered for the many friends, family and neighbors he helped remodel or help build their homes. He could always enjoy the sound and feel of saws and hammers. It was important for Larry to "give back". Also surviving is the mother to Larry's children, Roberta Neuman. Cremation has taken place, there will be no official service per Larry's wishes. We will miss him forever but will always hold his love in our hearts. Zipperer's Funeral Home
