We are sorry to announce the passing of Lorraine Catherine Stefanic of Old Bridge, NJ. Lorraine passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 22, 2022 at Palm Gardens rehabilitation facility, Sun City Center, FL at the age of 90 years old. She resided in Sun City Center from 2021 until her death after living in Old Bridge for 61 years.

She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Alexander Stefanic Jr. in 2003, her parents, Leo and Catherine Tyrell, and her two sisters, Shirley O'Rourke and Regina Harris. Beloved mother to her three children Paul, Cheryl and Steven. Loving grandmother to her five grandchildren, Leah, Mirinda, Craig, Robert and Nick, great grandmother to her five great grandchildren, Madalyn, Olivia, Ethan, Owen, and Rhett.

Lorraine was born in Scranton, PA in 1932 to Leo and Catherine Tyrell. She was a bookkeeper most of her life working at Shop Rite Supermarkets in New Jersey. She was a long standing member and past president of the Women's American Legion Auxiliary, Post 177, in Old Bridge, NJ for over 50 years.
